Stratus Cloud Sunset
Every once in a while, we have what I call "cloud mountains", which is clouds which seem to rise out of the ground with a clear sky above. When they're around at sunset they create a colored wall.
In the photo above as the sunset started there was just a line of fire along the top of the clouds. In the one below the sun's glow started to color the surrounding stretch of clouds.
A farther away look at the cloud locations. And below, a shot through the trees of the multicolor sky.
