Treat Your Sweetie
What's particularly cute about the cardinal couple is that they feed one another seeds from time to time. We sort of caught that here.
They also seem to have a chaperone...

Haha, it amused me seeing that sparrow behind them. I imagine they were blocking the food plate.
I've seen the purple finches do it with one another too, though never the sparrows or mourning doves.

It's a shy one. We rarely spot one and have fewer than a dozen photos over the years.

We used to see cardinals far more often when we lived in Florida but never spotted it either. Having the bird plate helps!
