I get a lot of creeping charlie in my yard... in fact, it wants to take over my yard! The plant smells so sweet when cut or bruised.

Hey, I have that in my new backyard! I like it, too, although it's considered a weed. Folks here in Minnesota call it "creeping Charlie." [EDIT: LOL, I missed seeing your post title]

Another reason I like it: I have been seeing big glorious bumblebees feeding from this stuff, when practically nothing else, not even dandelions, is blooming quite yet. Those early-spring food sources are really important, so hooray for creeping Charlie. :-D
