Saw a small flock of Waxwings (Bombycilla garrulu) today and managed to take a couple of rather nice photos:

Aw, I love waxwings! They always show up to get drunk on the fermenting berries that fall from the trees near my house. :)

Waxwings are among my favourite birds! Sadly they're only very occasional visitors where I live now. I would love to see them getting drunk on fermented fruit!

It was such a joy to get to see them on a sunny day ideal for photographing! They usually seem to visit when it's very overcast and dark so you only see them as silhouttes against the sky.
