Common Nature

Although as of yesterday the temperatures have been warming to a more moderate cold, for the past 10 days it's been very cold. The birds gathered on our balcony in even greater numbers, not just seeking food since the snow was sticking to the ground this time, but for shelter from the wind. I loved the pattern that all the bird feet made in the snow.



Once the wind died down and the weather warmed, the birds still came but soon left to hang out elsewhere. Last night we had a pretty sunset with swirling clouds, and below, a closer view of the ball-o-fire.
