Ludlow area

We took a trip to Ludlow a while back and I'm only just getting round to posting a few pics.

Ludlow is to the south of us at the other end of the county of Shropshire and like here, is among hill country. In that case, the Clee Hills.

There was, of course, fungus!

This is a downfall from a watermill on the River Teme:

And this is the said watermill. It's medieval:

The town is surrounded by so much green:

And old barn with a solitary sheep!

And a view over to the Clee hills:

I'm a huge fan of things tumbledown!

Stumpy McStumpface!

Autumn fields!

Notice the feather in the stump?

More fungi!

These berries were climbing a telephone pole support wire:

A lane known to the locals as 'Cowshit Lane.'  :o)

So many trees!

The River Teme again:

Shropshire is such a beautiful, semi-wild county. I spent a weekend near Ludlow quite a few years ago, and the drive there was so beautiful. I actually danced on the doorstep of the rental cottage!

What a wonderfully venerable Stump.

I love waterfalls, large or small!

I don't think that you can get much better than natura and history together. <3

So many beautiful photos. That fungus on the tree is something. And I love to see old barns.
