Recently saw something I've never spotted before despite a lifetime of being around squirrels. One was swimming!
Also just an assortment of pretty blooms

I have
never
seen a squirrel swim! I suppose there's no reason they couldn't, just no reason they should need to for the most part.
(Those flowers are lovely~)

With its tail trailing just like a regular rat, makes sense now I think about it :-)
Pretty flowers :-)

Add me to those who've never seen a swimming squirrel before. It certainly looks like it knows what it's doing!

I am unfamiliar with seeing squirrels swimming, so that's a very interesting picture.
There blooms are also beautiful.

Have you shown the swimming squirrel photo to your local scientific community? That could be important documentation of a rarely witnessed (by humans) phenomenon.

I have not, but apparently while unusual it's not unknown
