Liked the mix of moon sliver with dark clouds and orange sunset

A night with a really clear full moon. Distant shot above, close-up below. What I particularly liked was seeing the red edges to the bottom half of the moon.


There seemed to be more stripes in person but you can still see the layering of what looks like candy striped clouds.

What struck me about this view was (just right of center) a cloud opening that looked like an overhead light fixture switched on.

(If you look closely, the red area is an arc rather than a halo—it’s complemented by a cyan arc opposite, implying the most visible parts of a rainbow sequence.)
Above and to the right of the “overhead light fixture” in photo #5, at about 2 o’clock, is a dark cloud shape that looks for all the world like the Starfleet logo.

Yes, I'd noticed the contrasting color opposite, it was neat to see.
