We first spotted these green heron about 6 years ago, but never saw them on our end of the lake. Last week there were two of them. Maybe newly grown chicks?
Near them was another bird we hadn't seen before which someone told me was a cormorant. We saw it for two days in a row and then it was gone. Do these migrate?
